Bitter Gourd Pachadi Recipe I learnt from my Mom. When I was kid, I never liked to eat bitter gourd but now I prefer to add it in my diet at least once or twice in a week knowing its health benefits 😋😋😋 This is a simple recipe which can be prepared in 15 minutes of time.
BITTER GOURD PACHADI RECIPE:
INGREDIENTS:
3 Bitter Melons
1/2 cup grated coconut
1tea spoon Urad dal
1 green chilly
A small piece of tamarind
2 to 3 tbsp Olive oil or Ghee for frying
METHOD :-

1. Firstly wash the Bitter Melon properly and cut in half, get rid of seeds. Cut it in small pieces as shown in the below picture.
2. Now using Ghee or Olive oil fry Bitter Melon till it turns crispy and the color changes to light brown.
3. Take a small pan, add 1tbsp ghee and add green chilly and urad dal, cook until roasted and add it to the mixer grinder along with grated coconut and a small piece of tamarind. Grind well using required water.
4. Make sure to retain the crispiness of bitter melon, mix it with ground chutney just before serving the food.
5. Bitter Gourd Pachadi is ready.

Tips:
Fry the bitter melon till it turns light brown and become crispy.
Just before serving add the fried bitter melon to the chutney, if you add before it becomes soft and doesn't taste as how it should.
